I parked at the Ramapo Valley County Reservation parking area off of Rt. 202. I started down the silver trail, passing Scarlet Oak Pond, and then connecting to the orange-blazed Schuber trail. This trail passes the MacMillan Reservoir and connects to the red/silver trail, which I took around the north end of Rocky Mountain. I made a left on the gas pipline clearing, took that to its highest point, amd scrambled the rest of the way to the summit. I found the rock cairn and then checked out the rocky overlook to the east. Manhattan skyline was barely visible in the haze. On the return trip, I took a refreshing swim in the reservoir.
