Started from the Blue/White Trail head parking lot, picnic area to the first overlook, then a short walk to summit. Yes, a fair share of raspberry canes and assorted sticker bushes, but not as bad as expected. Ticks were awful, removed almost 20 as they were making their way up pants leg. The B/W trail itself is a pleasant walk, but unfortunately through a ruined hemlock forest, courtesy of the woolly adelgid, an Asian invasive insect killing hemlocks across the Northeast.
After The Tornfell, climbed JJN#2 summit via Observatory road. Followed unmarked trail to top. Nice views and ledges. Less ticks than The Tornfell.
