I parked near the Wildlife Management Area parking lot near 927 Rockport Rd. It’s hard to see but there is a sign that says “Parking Area” so I assumed it was ok although I do recommend you use a car with a decent amount of clearance as there is a pretty big dip when pulling off or back onto the road. After parking I began bushwhacking up the mountain. I ran into a few faint woods roads on the way up to the power lines. I crossed and then had another short bushwhack to the high point. I retraced my steps back to the parking area. Not nearly as many thickets, briars and blowdown as there was approaching from the pheasant farm.
Parked at a pull off on North Shore Rd. I took the Sussex Branch Trail and made a left on the green trail. I took this until I got past the posted signs and began bushwhacking up to the high point. I made it to the view without crossing any sign postings and retraced my steps back to the car.
