Finally successful on 3rd attempt. Found the N/S ridge parallel to the white trail, turning south where the yellow trail bends to the north. Follow the ridge south for approx 10 mins. Found the high point with a southerly view to the Manhattan skyline. So beautiful up here. Rhododendrums in bloom. Just managed to avoid a copperhead.
Relatively easy ascent on a warm humid day. Took green trail to the viewpoint. A little further along the trail and then short bushwack to the right. Flat summit area.
Parked and took green trail and then bushwacked up to the cliffs. Then found a chute which then looped around a little and brought me out not too far from the summit area with table shown in several hikers photos and descriptions.
