Jenny Jump #4 has a broad, flat summit area criss-crossed by many ATV trails. The ascent from the Jenny #3/Jenny #4 col is steep, but you can go around the steepest slopes by climbing from the south.
There are some semi-decent winter views from the steep slopes overlooking Mountain Lake.
This bushwack SUCKS. I should have tried first straight up fe ok m the road. I went west into the col, then had to backtrack. Going up to Torne Fell next. Then up to park office and back to Mt. Lake.
From JJ3 continued on blue trail headed SW towards JJ4. As the trail started to turn south and downward started to bushwhack continuing in SW direction. There is a false peak, noted by other hikers, so I circumnavigated on the west side and JJ4 came into view. As you approach the summit the terrain flattens out quite a lot. There was a hunting perch right on the summit.
