Guerin Benchmark

Guerin Benchmark

Guerin Benchmark, formerly known as Mount Freedom High Point, is itself not the most interesting mountain, but it is part of a large, yet unsung, network of trails covering Randolph and Mendham townships. Many of these trails are covered with gravel and are graded for mountain bikes. The trails go through forest and field and offer many views. If you begin your hike from the Clyde Potts Reservoir a hike/bike to the summit requires over 500' of vertical gain.

The hiking-exclusive trail going to the high point's summit was built as someone's Eagle Scout project.
