Mark Ladolcetta's Ascent of Oxford Mountain (1000 feet)

Trip Report: I parked at the so called "picnic area" on Rt. 31. (It's a gravel cutout with a picnic table.) I headed into the woods, crossed tunnel hill road, and continued to bushwack all the way to the summit. On the return trip I did find the remnants of a trail that seemed to be heading down towards tunnel hill road, but I lost it before I got to the road. If is wasn't for this club and website, I wouldn't see any reason to do this hike. No views this time of year, and nothing but bushwacking, thorn bushes, and bugs.
